Texture displacement with Arnold in C4d

Hi, all,

I am trying to displace a png texture on a flat shape. I can achieve the effect without any problems using the standard renderer and a C4D material:

displacement1.pngHowever, when I try to achieve the same effect using an arnold surface shader, I see the following result:

displacement2.pngI am using an Arnold parameters tag. I have used catclark subdivision and set the displacement height to 20cm. Reducing the height smooths out the edges, but there is no observable displacement. Increasing the height makes the shape more crinkles.

My node map looks like this:

displacement3.pngDoes anyone have any suggestions regarding how to achieve the same displacement effect I achieved in the standard renderer with Arnold? Your help is much appreciated.

Cheers!
