Successful baking does not generate any file

Hi, I have a weird issue with baking, where it says the bake was successful, but there is no file being generated.

Whatever location I choose as file output, no file is being generated at all. I have the exact same bake settings as in other scenes where it did work perfectly fine before, but now it does no longer work. I attached a screenshot of the bake settings.

I have no idea what is causing this, I haven't updated to a new version and did not do any changes to admin rights or whatever.

And to add, I do use the CPU system for rendering

And the object I want to bake is not under a cloner or anything and visible in viewport and render, an Arnold standard surface is assigned to the object

OK, it seems this was a strange bug, after I restarted my system today, the baking worked fine again
