are there any Time specific plans on solving very slow ASS viewport preview?

Attaching how smooth Laubwerk and Corona proxyies are. Perhaps could be an inspiration on how to solve it.

Oh nice, that sounds great. Another big thing I would like to lobby for is smarter region render that could pic e.g. selected Material/objects and/or have polygonal or multi square render region. (Corona has it nicely implemented)
