Hi, I want to have several takes using a different HDRI shader network for the Skydome light color slot for each take. However, the shader network in the skydome isn't saved with the takes. Comparing with the native C4D workflow, you can change the material tag on the Sky node and save each tag to a different take. How can this be achieved using Arnold?

I've found a workaround, and that is to create multiple Skydome nodes with their own shader network and having each one activated for the different takes.

Yes, that's a good workaround. Could be a bug in the code, since that color slot is a custom widget. I'll take a look and try to fix it.

Actually it's not an easy fix, it would require to introduce a custom data type, which breaks compatibility. So it probably won't be fixed in the short-term. You have to live with the workaround for now.
