Shader Reference with Displacement (C4D)?

Hi, I have a bunch of shaders that should be used a Reference and then mixed with a Layer Shader over time. As the shaders also include displacement, I am wondering how to connect the displacement. The reference has only one output that connects the Beauty. Is there a way to extract the displacement somehow and pipe it from the reference into the Displacement? Maybe there is a workaround to encode it into some “invisible” Alpha info (as it’s just grey) and then extract it again from the reference… Thank for any hint.

I would use a separate reference for the displacement.

In know! Would that be the only solution? It means a lot of additional work and fiddling because elements of the displacement texture are connected to the color of the shader and vice versa and there are vertex maps from the mesh involved too. Other then the reference shader, are there there any send/receive nodes or other option that would be helpful?
