Render to Texture - Feature Availability in Cinema 4D

Maya and Houdini have texture baking functionality built in to the current release of Arnold. Is there future functionality of this planned for Cinema 4D?

Yes, we are planning a better texture baking feature in the plugins, including C4DtoA, in a future release (mid/long term).
