Reflection Map on Glass

I'm trying to use a different map for the environment reflection on a glass object but not getting there. So far I've tried:


1. Create a C4d background object and assign an image shader to it containing the map, a background plate.


2. Add a ray-switch to the glass shader with an image node connected containing the backplate to the ray switch specular transmission. This shows the map but it wraps around the entire object which isn't what I want. Specular reflection didn't seem to do anything.


The black square on the object (see image) is where I want the reflected environment.


What am I doing wrong here?

I guess you are missing a camera_projection after the backplate image.

What if you add an Arnold Sky or skydome light of your HDRI map and make the skydome visible only in Specular?
