RealFlow for C4D Motion Blur with Arnold

Hello,

I was wondering if there's a way to achieve motion blur in RealFlow C4D with Arnold. It doesn't seem to work by just "Enabling" Motion Blur in the render settings. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm not familiar with the current RealFlow plugin, but motion blur should require nothing special, only returning the position of particles in subframes. If you want to blur meshes generated by RF, you need to use motion vectors (e.g. defined in vertex maps), which you can enable in the Arnold tag.

Thanks Peter, really appreciate the quick response. However, I tried that step by step through this tutorial: https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/display/A5AFCUG/Motion+Vector+Parameters and it still didn't work. Not sure why.

Not sure either. Make sure the maps have the right data, maybe you have to scale it up or down. If you have a scene I can take a look, although I don't have the RF plugin installed.
