"opaque is deprecated" warning when using cutout opacity...just ignore?

Hi

I have model that uses a simple black-white mask on square polygons to cutout eyelashes for a human face. This requires the opaque flag in the Arnold tag to be unchecked, but doing so inevitably triggers the 'deprecated' warning when rendering. No opacity metadata etc etc.

Is there a correct way to address this to put an end to the warnings? Or can I just ignore it and never mind? 😄

What shader are you using for that model?
With standard surface, you don't need to set the Opaque flag manually.

Hi Stephen

Thanks for your reply. I deleted the material and reapplied it to the geometry, and it now indeed works without the opaque flag checked!
