Object only visible from one side during render - seems to have nothing to do with normals

Hello,

I have encountered a strange phenomenon in C4DtoA, where a flat plane under a subdivision surface (in fact a rug) is disappearing from the render view as I pan the camera. And I don't mean panning under the rug, but from left to right. It seems to be glitching throuhg the floor, but it is at least 30cm away from it and the plane is perfectly horizontal. You can see the invisibility swipe over the plane with the movement of the camera, it seems to be orthogonal to the camera itself.

Removing the material, or deleting the C4DtoA tag doesn't do anything. Displacement is turned off. And the normals are facing upside, no normal map is applied.

Could this maybe be a bug?

Best regards,
Fynn

It sounded like a bounds_padding issue until you said displacement is off.

Maybe a clipping plane problem. Does it happen with all cameras?

Can you upload a simple scene that demonstrates the problem?
