MOTION BLUR doesn't render in Cinema 4D ?

Recently I've been learning Arnold for Cinema 4D following the course on Morgraphplus.com. But when I was learning how to setup the motion blur, I found my IPR won't render it(Motion blur switch is checked, and I was doing exactly what the author was doing).

Is this a bug? Or is there something else I need to do to make the motion blur render happen?

SPECS:

Arnold for Cinema 4D v2.2.2
Windows 10 1709

Alright, I've solved this. There is an option "Enable motion blur" in the IPR window which I didn't know exist. Check this, then everything is fine.

Yes, there's a separate control in the IPR Window because of performance reasons. When motion blur is enabled in the IPR, updates become slower because the active scene has to be cloned. So it's disabled by default.

I'm planning to make this control more obvious in a future release.

That would be much better if so. Thanks, Peter.

And.. where is this ctrl now ?

Cough.. cough .. are we sure it's more obvious.. having to go into Toolbar->ShowMotionBlurButton and only then click it to have MB enabled ?

Or is there some more obvious way .. that for some non obvious reasons I can't find ? 🙂

Ah no, it was never made more obvious to find in the end. We made it kinda hidden on purpose because of its 'experimental' nature. Turning on motion blur in the IPR has some performance implications and it is not fully stable. Never got the time to improve it, unfortunately.

It gets even less obvious considering one needs that also for motion vectors that are not displayed directly on the ipr.
