Materiales to selected faces

Hi, I'm new to Arnold and I'm trying to make a label for a can.

I need the can to have 2 materials, an Aluminum brush for the top and the middle is where the label is. I made a material for each one and applied with the selection of faces.

In general, in c4d it was only required to make the selection of the face of the area to each texture, but with arnold it does not work. Can anybody help me?

I am testing AOV but not sure if it is. Thank you.

You assign materials to the polygon selection tags, it's the same workflow.

Polygon selections should work. If not, could you please send me a scene showing the problem?

Yes, here is a screenshot and video of the problem. I am a beginner so I would be glad if you can help me or give another advice of how to do it. Thanks8092-captura-de-pantalla-2020-09-04-a-las-201114.jpg

I tried just dragging like this but dont work. Also put a user data and a uv transform between the image and the standard surface but didn't work.

I can not open the video link. But here's a simple setup with a polygon selection, which works fine. Still not sure what's different in your scene.
