License Manager Crashes

When I try to sign in to Arnold License manager, LM crashes after clicking the 'Sign In' button.

 

I've un-installed C4DA and re-installed with no luck.

So I updated to Monterey 12.4 and that fixed it. Weird.

Glad to hear, that the update fixed it. It's weird indeed, haven't seen any issues specific to 12.3.1 before, but will keep an eye on it.

Ok, so updated to the latest release of Arnold and have the same problem again. As soon as I login into the license manager it crashes.

I found the uninstall script for license manager and ran it. Reinstalled Arnold and it worked after a reboot.

 

Is this going to be necessary with future updates? Never used to be an issue.

Definitely should not be necessary. The latest release was not even updating the licensing components. It's hard to tell what's going on. From your original post it seems that the sign-in component was crashing. If it happens again and the crash report dialog pops up, please send in the report with a comment and let me know, so we can identify it and look at the details.

just a heads up that this is still an issue.

 

after a clean OS install and installing Arnold, the LM crashed straight away. Reinstalling the LM from the included package in the Arnold folder resolved it. Seems like it doesn't install properly first time around.

 

This is the version that is included.
