If auto save is enabled, that could cause the IPR to refresh.
Also in some situations the IPR could refresh even if you just select an object. If that's the case, it could be some object in the scene which triggers that, might be a bug in the plugin or a limitation in Cinema 4D. I would need the scene to be able to reproduce and investigate.
If the IPR updates continuously without touching anything, that's definitely a bug. I'd still need a scene to reproduce it if it's scene specific.
