Image alpha channel

Hi Guys, I met a really confusing issue.

I use arnold in c4d to render a massive images together with cloner, but the edges looks not right and really hard. Like below:

my material setting is like this, for some reason Arnold detect the alpha channel from the image inversely, so I inverse the alpha channel

However, when I use the standard render engine in C4d with the built in material, it looks right....

4812-3333-3.jpg

4813-3333.jpg

4814-33333-2.jpg

Any thought of this?

Thanks!

I think I've found the reason, I increased the ray depth and it became normal. The default ray depth is not enough for this kind of density objects.

Thanks.
