I want to create a visibility transition animation for an object using Arnold in Cinema 4D. I can achieve this with a single material by using 'opacity clipping'. But if the object has multiple stacked materials, how should I approach it?

It seems that Arnold Render doesn't support Cinema 4D's 'Visibility' tag, so I can't use it to achieve this effect.

Since you mix standard_surface shaders, you can animate the Cutout Opacity of both shaders, via a float Value shader or a user data.
