Hello!

I'm trying render a towel with a brand mark applied in a hair material. Something I can see the render in IPR, other times is not working anymore but, in the picture viewer, Arnold is not render the color information.

I'm using M1 MacBook, cinema 4D 2023.1

Thank you.

You find a "Render via Hair Render effect" option under the Advanced tab in the Arnold hair tag. Does it help if you check that? If not, can you share your scene I could take a look at?

Hello Peter!

It was already checked. I've tried to uncheck but is not working either. Here's the file.

Thank you.

Type is set to Triangle under the Hair Object > Generate tab, I think that's causing the trouble.

In this case the hair object generates a mesh and the UVs are probably not what you expect. If you set the Type to None, then hair curves are exported to Arnold with the surface UVs (if Export UVs is enabled in the Arnold tag).
