Well, I don't know about R19, but C4DtoA 2.4.1.2 and later have a fix for a very similar problem with R20.

We had a problem in R20 because the C4D SDK has changed. However I don't know any issues in R19. I don't have the 1435 build, but I tested TFD 1437 and TFD 1439 on Windows with R19.024 and it was working fine. What's your exact C4D version and OS? Is TFD installed to the C4D program folder (c:\Program Files or /Applications) or do you have a custom install?
