Editor View black parts

Hi

I mean it's something that bothers us a long time, but I think it would be easy to solve.

 

In the viewport the materials start to look weird, as soon as we add bump to it. Se the picture with the black parts. We go around this with mostly delink the bump until render or make a seperad standard shader and link to the viewport. Can we have an easier way somehow? Disabling Normal from materials in the editor or something? Or is there already a better way?

The viewport does not support bump maps and interprets them as normal maps, that's why it looks wrong. A fix will be added to the plugin to ignore bump maps. There's no better workaround at the moment, then what you described.

Fix (ignoring bump map) is released in C4DtoA 4.6.8.1.
