Creating camera from UV-map?

Hi. Is there a way to create a camera from uv-map? The same as baking a texture, but have more control and render in the normal renderer and not through the texture baker. The reason I need this is the possibility to see what the UV-map sees, and be able to distort the image so I can render from outside the map, but get the same angles. Like inverse projection mapping. As an example, we are going to projection map onto a building, but need simulation that interact with the surfaces we are working on. I can use reflection and bake the reflection map, but would be even better if I could render from camera and get the same distortion as the UV-map. Hope this is understandable.
