Converting Redshift materials to Arnold

is there a way or a script to convert redshift materials to Arnold ,since both redshift and Arnold share the same node names and setting , now there is only a conversion from C4D materials to Arnold , which doesn't work on redshift materials

Have you tried any of the conversion scripts in the Arnold -> Utilities menu

The current conversion scripts are for the Standard Material, no conversion for Redshift Materials. We'd like to add it in a future release, but no ETA at the moment.

Don't think there's any workaround for this, other than writing your own conversion script, which is not trivial.

Yes, the redshift converter only converts from c4d materials. And I also found and tried the poliigon tool. Didn't help either. I know that I ll have to do at least the fine tuning manually. But a little help by a script would come in handy.

I'll try to put together a basic script when I have some time, probably next week.

Hey, Finally I had some time to write you a script, sorry it took so long. It supports Standard Material, Texture, Bump Map, Normal Map and Displacement currently. It's very basic, just copies over the values for standard surface and sets the filename on the textures. I'm pretty sure there will cases where the look don't match and you need to adjust the values. But it should be a good starting point.

its works fine ,it crashes sometimes and creates duplicates of some node for some reason . but overall its good , thanks a lot ,I appreciate your help .
