Convert Shader Network Editor to Arnold Node Material?

As the title says really, I was wondering if there is a way of converting|transferring a Arnold Shader Network, to an Arnold Node Material? Recreating the existing shader as a Node Material would take too ling with all of the settings. I have tried copying and pasting between the two, but it doesn't work.

Edit: I have also tried File > Convert to Node Material and Copy & Convert to Node Material and the new Node Material just has an exclamation in the preview?

Any thoughts or knowledge greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

You can use the conversion commands from the Arnold > Utilities menu, or the ones from the File menu in the editor, as you mentioned.

An exclamation, like this usually means, that Arnold is not the active Node Space.

Select Arnold as the active renderer in the Render Settings, or change the node space in Render > Node Spaces.
