C4D/Arnold crashing when rendering with motion blur

Hi there,

I'm trying to render a Scene in Arnold for C4D, but it instantly crashes everytime. It only works if i deactivate "Motion Blur".  Is Motion Blur not supported yet in Arnold 4.6.4.1 on M1 Chips? Is there a workaround? Thanks!

MacOS Ventura 13.4.1

M1 Max

C4D S26

Arnold 4.6.4.1

There are no know limitations around motion blur on M1. It might be specific to your scene. Can you try in a basic scene? Also can you share the scene to be able to debug here? When it crashed, did the Autodesk Crash Report dialog pop up and did you send in a report?

Hi Peter,

I tried a basic scene in which Motion Blur did work just fine. I don't understand why my Scene only works with motion blur turned off, but i sent a crash report (714927234)

Do you have instancing in the scene? Arnold Scatter object or particles or a Cloner with Multi-Instances maybe? And light linking? So far that's what I could figure out from the crash report, that the light linking code fails somehow when there are instances in the scene. But hard to tell what's going on without a repro.
