Arnold Scatter Confusion/bug?

Got a strange problem with the scatterer, im messing around with the filter in distribution using a noise to seperate 2 different scatterers. 

In the picture below you can see the expected behaviour on the plane, but the same scatterers on the terrain geo does not produce the same results.

Not sure if the geo im using is messed up somehow, changing the noise pattern on the filter on the terrain scatter doesnt seem to affect any of the scattered points, so something is off.

Nevermind! My geo was void of any UVs, but i thought initally that wouldnt matter because i had the noise on world mode and not texure.

The filter is currently always evaluated in UV space. I'm surprised that the noise produced a proper output in World mode actually. Perhaps it was falling back to UV as no 3D data was passed when evaluating the shader.
