Textures not updating!

This is driving me crazy, when I adjust a texture file outside 3ds max, and then go back to 3ds max, it updates in the viewport, but in the render it doesn't update, it still renders the old one before I made the changes.

I even disabled the "auto convert textures" to TX and "use existing TX Textures" in Arnold render settings (under Textures), and it sitll doesn't work.

It's very frustrating, is it a bug?

P.s.: this problem doesnt exist when I use scanline render, so it's obviously related the TX files that Arnold create

Are you updating the Arnold RenderView window (Render -> Update Full Scene)?

I'd say, do NOT disable "Auto Convert Textures", otherwise it will use existing TX Textures...

Ok, you are right, it doesn't matter... And it's worse:

Here I've reset max and reload my file. My viewport shows this (the actually assigned bitmap .jpg version):

Render View (Production or IPR) shows this (the previously saved .jpg version - don't judge the colors):

And ActiveShade renders this (the original PSD bitmap; both Auto-Convert... and Use Existing... are disabled here):

Ok, some explanation here...

After my first tries, I changed the Auto TX Path.

So, my first image shows the viewport, which is not affected by Arnold.

For my second image, Arnold takes the TX file from the new TX path.

And ActiveShade obviously uses the TX file from the default TX file path (the same TX file is used for the Material Editor preview).

Hello,

I found a work around, I just went to Arnold (in the drop down menus) -> flush cahses -> Textures

I did that after every change to the main texture file, and it auto-updated to the new one

I shouldn't need to do that but it works
