Show/hide objects with toon shader

Hello.
In the past, I used the physical material- cutout map slot with a color convert map to show / hide objects for rendering (in Arnold).

Now I only want to do this with the toon shader.
Is it possible to do that with the toon shader?
So hide in successive frams objects.
I need this for technical documentation (assembly instructions, ..)
What I have to do to implement this? Or is there a better solution?

thank you for your help

Have you also tried adjusting the camera clipping planes?
