Does Arnold support the Blowup render option in 3ds Max?

I am trying to render a scene in 3ds max 2018 as tiles using the blowup feature. Arnold proceeds to render an area different to the one I have selected though. It works fine in the Art renderer. Anyone know if there's a workaround or does Arnold not support this feature?

I use the render region at a higher resolution and zoom in the render view.

Or instead or just zoom in the 3d viewport and render that.

But not as efficient as the blowup render feature that isn't working for arnold.

@John Halpin, I see I would think "blowup" was something different(explosions). Render Region yes but no distributive rendering as I can tell. This is where other machines join in a single frame render like in Mentalray and Vray.

Autodesk put names on things that is not used industry wide:

This stuff leads to a lot of confusion.
