ACEScg Render Looks Flat Compared to Linear Rec709 Render?

I can't see anything that I've done wrong in setting up ACES. I thought it must be the Arnold Render-View just not properly displaying the render? From the images you can see that the ACES render is just flatter, less specularly interesting, and the Normal doesn't pop as much. I'm using Maya 2023. I downloaded ACES 1.2, linked it to Maya's Color Mgmt, set the IDT's correctly, displayed the viewer as Rec709 and the renderer as ACEScg, then rendered. Is this just how ACES is supposed to look? Attaching a google drive link to a zip of the Maya file too, if somebody would be kind enough to tell me if I've done something incorrectly. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1X2UC_zGm9oTY11nhosGTEnkQTXY_-tCY?usp=share_link Screenshot 2022-12-10 at 1.34.40 AM.pngScreenshot 2022-12-10 at 1.34.48 AM.png
