The Autodesk Community Forums has a new look. Read more about what's changed on the Community Announcements board.
Can you provide more details please? What are you rendering? Can you provide a log or a simplified scene? Anything would be helpful.
thank you so much for getting back to me! i am rendering an interior space of a restaurant, nothing big. just a quick background on me, i only know what i have been taught. I know this program can do way more then what i can do, so this could be something very simple ( i hope).
i model in AutoCAD and apply materials and lights in 2018 3d max. i do grab models from the interbnet and insert them into my model (could be one of my problems) I have always used metal ray but have been trying to learn Arnold.
how can i provide you with a log?
Is there somewhere i can "purge" the file?
Are you interested in seeing the file? computer-specs.jpg
You can generate a Log file here.
You can use Feature Overrides to help identify the problem.
Alternatively, keep deleting half of your scene until you identify the cause.
Simplify the scene and post it here.
