Welcome to the Fusion 360 API Preview!

Thanks for exploring the Fusion 360 API preview. The September update contains our first implementation of the API and it mostly focuses on accessing and manipulating the assembly and model space with a JavaScript interface.

We will follow this up with a Python interface and eventually a C++ one in the next few updates. Your feedback here will allow us to prioritize our work meet your API needs.

To get started, check out this blog post by Brian Ekins, our API designer or head over to the documentation under Programming Interface.

To make it a bit easier to get started or to read more about the API if you're curious, here's a direct link to the help. Expand the "Programming Interface" topic and then click the "Fusion 360 API Users' Manual" to access some articles that show how to get started and explain various concepts of the API.
