vertex control

Hi, guys ๐Ÿ™‚

Here is my question: is there any method to control a vertex(edge etc) in a precise way? more sensitive?

Thank you always ๐Ÿ™‚

When you using the regular move/scale/rotate tool, the sensitivity mostly depends on the distance between the user camera and the selection.

For very precise control, you should use the Transform CV tool. When inside the tool, hold down the spacebar to show the hotbox menu. You can change the value of the sensitivity while holding down the spacebar. Higher values mean your selection will transform more "slowly". Transform CV tool also offers great ways to move things: XYZ, slide, NUV. Worth spending the time to get familiar with the tool!

To my knowledge there isnโ€™t a general modifier key like in Blender to do what you want.

modify the settings of a Xform CV tool to something precise like mouse sensitivity 50 or something (this means the CV will move 1/50th of the distance your mouse moves). Then place this modified tool on a shelf or marking menu. Ctrl+click to edit the tool name and call it something else like "tune CV" or whatever you prefer and select a hotkey for this tool. Reset the original Xform CV tool. Now when you hit your hotkey you will have a precise version, and still have access to the original tool.
