I recently had to give up my workstation because we are all moving to laptops. The laptop that I have has an Nvidia Quadro M2200. It runs pretty good. I have enough RAM and the CPU is capable.
Yesterday, I tried using the font tool, but only a small portion of the list of fonts appeared at the very top of the screen, and I could not change fonts by scrolling. If I clicked enough times on the font list it would get a little bigger, but still could not scroll. Also, while projecting a letter down to a surface, a scroll bar appeared and took way too long finish, but it DID finish. I suspected that the two problems were video related. I am using the same external monitor that I have used for years. When opening Alias Surface again yesterday it behaved like it always used to. Agaoin this morning. Maybe it was a 1 time occurance.
Has anyone else had similar difficulties? Especially with the M2200 graphics?
The laptop is a Dell Precision 7520, Windows 11, 32 GB RAM, Intel I7 64 bit
