Getting "into" Create VR -- please help

Hi,

I have a new Oculus Rift S plugged in and it seems to be working fine, except that I'm not getting virtually "inside" the Create VR window.  When I use the Virtual Desktop within the VR headset, I can see the Create VR window just as I do looking at my screen (see below).  And I can see my controllers move etc.  But when I switch to Alias/Create VR, I get a "Loading Create VR" screen.  What am I missing on getting this to work?

If not do you have SteamVR installed?

Thanks for asking.  Haven't resolved it yet.  I don't have Steam VR installed, just the Oculus software.  Should I?  Thanks again.

@Rogue9 what Alias version are you using?

Do you have Oculus SDK installed?
The newer Alias versions (maybe) do not need SteamVR.
I had once a similar issue and SteamVR solved it on my side.
Have you tried to start create VR without using the Virtual Desktop app?

Thanks for your replies.  I have gotten it to work.  I updated Alias (didn't realize it wasn't latest version) and installed the latest version of my graphics driver as well.
