BUG - Hotkey changed location and settings in 2019

I just noticed that my Check Model tool which I use to double check my models before release has somehow changed location and settings with the new 2019 Alias AutoStudio. I wanted to notify others of this problem, since it could cause users to miss errors in models, and/or there could be other potential hotkey mapping issues with other tools as well.

I had two different Evaluate> Check Models set up in my Modeling Panel Shelf, each with different settings. One of them had a single letter hotkey, and the other had no hotkey. Since upgrading to 2019, my single letter hotkey for this tool is now linked to What's New 2019> Evaluate> Check Model. It's settings are different, and does not check for all of the errors I typically search for when releasing a model.

I don't know if this is an issue with other tools/hotkeys, but I hope the developers at Alias can figure out what may have caused the error in hotkey mapping, so this can be prevented in the future.

Thanks,

Amanda

Because Check Model had changes to it in 2019, it was added to the What's new shelf.  Unfortunately because of the way tool copies are named the one in the "What's New Shelf" got the name you had assigned to the hotkey.   This is a  defect that will be entered.  You can re-assign the one in your Modeling Panel Shelf and save your preferences to fix the issue.

Sorry
