Any possibilities for SpeedForm mac version? more learning materials, please

Hi,

SpeedForm is such a wonderful software for designers. But now it's only for Windows. 

Is it possible for SpeedForm to support Mac OSX in the near future?

Also there is too little learning materials to learn SpeedForm 2016. I believe many designers are waiting for more of them.

Hi Huang,

Sorry this went unanswered so long, I must have missed it with summer vacations, etc. 

SpeedForm has been written in a way that it can easily be ported to be cross-platform and work on a Mac; we've just focused on Windows right now as that was the highest demand from our customers. Can you work on Windows, or do you need it on a Mac?

Thanks also for your request about learning materials. We do have a few projects in the works to release more of these and I hope to share more news soon about this.

Happy to find that Speedform is developed cross-platform. May I expect a Mac version of Speedform to come?

For now, I'm using Parallels Desktop to run Speedform. But a native Mac version SpeedForm is really what Mac users want.

I tried to run Speedform trial via Parallels but I get a graphic break up making my workspace unreadable. Did you have any similar problems and if so how did you correct it?

I'm a Mac user and I agree with huang.lichung, we expect for a native solution (I don't have any Windows virtualization solution)

I have an other question : I'm student and I don't find any link to download Speedform for student (even for Windows). Isn't it posible for the moment ?

Hi Martin,

Sorry for the delay, I missed this post. We don't test our products on Parallels. I personally run SpeedForm on Bootcamp (though it's not officially tested) and need to switch my graphics driver to Direct X 9 instead of Direct X 11 to get workable graphics. Not sure if that trick would help you at all.

Just want to put my vote for a Mac version in the hat. I am a long time user (10+ years) of Alias and I see Speedform as a natural progress of that, so if you could hit that compile button on Xcode that would be great. cheers.

Any update with the Mac native version, I work in the car industry and as a designer some of us we run mac and we have native Alias running as well I hope we could get soon Speedform for mac
