Alias Graphic issue

Hello,

I come here to have some help with my probleme,
Im working on Alias Design 2019 on Windows 10 with 2 RTX 2080 ti with 64Go ram and a i9-7900x 

As you can see on the picture I have some "graphic issues"  but I dont find anything about it 
Sometime the icone are like the sceen, and sometime ist just the text witout the logo/picture
My stage editor is not working well ( no cross anywhere )

I have reset my prefset severall time ( working for 1 day and after this probleme come back )
I reinstall Alias
I update all my driver twice

Im now stuck in this position I need some help to solve this Probleme.

Does this effect any other Autodesk products?  Is Alias OK in the morning when you start?  Does it get bad when the card heats up?

Hello,

Im not using other Autodesk product on this computer, I just open 3DS max now to have a look and everything seems ok on it

In the Morning Alias is the same, some time with icone sometime not 

And for the heat ofd the card im not sur that this affect, because on the morning its the same and also after a restart 


Like now as you can see on the picture i have no icone

In the past such things often happened when any anti aliasing setting in the grafix card was activated. Try to turn this all off and use software AA for shaded mode.

Sometimes the same word entry is displayed under every icon and in every text field everywhere in all option windows, toolbars, etc. .

Very bizarre.

Helllo,

I tried to turn off all the antialiasing every where on my graphic card its not working too
That the first time this kind of problem happen to me..

I also tried to install Alias Design 2020 that was working perfectly for an half day and after i restart the software i had the same probleme 
Its weird because I only have the problem with Alias, C4d, 3Ds max, Vx element are working well

hmmm sorry to hear that,

I think it has something to do with the graphics card. It has always been the case until now. There have also been very bizarre solutions. With some AMD cards, for example, you had to deactivate the Point Of View to make it run smoothly.

But now, of course, we come a bit into the area of guessing...

Do you feel like taking a screenshot of the graphics settings?

Vertical synch is also a setting to play with...

Yes I thinkl that one of my concern too that weird how a graphic card can make this happen !

We are guessing but i think for now its the only way to try some other solution 

Witch Graphic setting do you want ? From the graphic card ?

yes, a shot of the nvidia control panel window, showing the settings you use for Alias.

Unfortunately you might not be able to show all the settings in one shot, becouse its incomprehensibly not scalable...

hmm ok,

in my experience its most important to keep the AA mode switch set to OFF when you encounter graphics issues.

Since i often have more than just one CAD app opened parallel to some 2D apps i dont trust nvidia is able to switch the settings for each app.
And since Alias is the most touchily piece in my toolbox i set the global settings to what Alias likes. Maybe its just shamanism, but it works for me.

At least for testing i suggest to set

Anisotr. filter: OFF
AA gamma corr: OFF
AA mode: OFF
AA setting: OFF (when available)

besides that i have set
CUDA to ALL
thread opt to AUTO

In your screenshots i miss:

Exported pixel types: color idexed overlays (8bpp)
Overlays: OFF
Vert Synch: OFF

If this doesnt help, i actually have no other idea atm...

I change all the setting you told me and for now its working again !! I hope that will stay like that
