.5 color value for layers by default.

Hello,

Just installed 2024 and trying to get it to feel as much like 2023 as possible at the moment.

Somehow way back when I was able to set my default layers color picks to be at a .5 color value so that all my choices weren't so loud. I can't find how I did that in either 2023 or 2024. It has always just carried over every install until 2024. Any ideas?

Top image is 2023 and lower is 2024

Thank you.

That was under the Menu->Layers->Layer Color

There are options to randomly assign colors to selected (or all) layers.  You get to adjust the value (in HSV) of the colors assigned.  That is also in 2024

Hello and thanks for the reply.

I am aware of the random layer color settings. However, Alias's "random" isn't really that random. I am asking how to get my manual color picks to stay at a custom value in the object lister.

You can see the difference in the image.

Top image is 2023 with my custom settings and lower is 2024 with default settings.

Thanks again,
