3D Parallel Toolpaths refuse to use user defined Preferred Lead-in Positions

Hello all, I think I found a bug but perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

For 3D Parallel toolpaths specifically no matter what point I select for a preferred lead-in position it refuses to use it, making zero difference where the tool starts. I've tried this many times now on various model shapes. Is there a setting that overrides a user defined preferred lead-in position?

It works great for 2D contour toolpaths.

any help or confirmation of this being a bug would be excellent.

I am not 100% sure which tool you are referring too?  Are you sure you have the correct forum?  This is the Autodesk Alias forum but it looks like your question might be for Autodesk Fusion Manufacturing (Fusion 360)?
