I totally agree with this. I hope someone responds with a solution. The last thread I read on this was almost three years ago and the final verdict was, it's not possible.
Adding an isometric view to a drawing is not possible within the drawing process. That is, you can't just add an isometric view to the detail style. What you can do, is create a drawing style with "assembly" and "ucs" settings and use it to manually add the assembly to the detail.
Presentation/scale etc are up to you...
Process is similar to GA, select syle->select assembly->modify settings->add to existing assembly drawing...
You might have to set duplicate option to selected temporarily if you don't have it already...
It has nothing to do with isometricview. I want to create a drawing of a perspective view. This is not possible now. And my wish is that this will be possible.
