Use view clip distance, instead of clipping the objects.

Use view clip distance, instead of clipping the objects.

Use front clip plane and back clip place to create object view. (Like in Prosteel, "Object view center")

Change view depth to control what to see in the model, instead of clipping the actual objects (but the view depth is always unlimited). 

The advantage is that with view clip distance, we can use multi view port in model space, and each view port is independent.

"Quick view" always regen all the objects, even with multi viewport. After a new quick view is done, all the viewports are changed.

Unfortunately, this idea could not be included on our road map and as such we will not be pursuing it in the near future.

Understood. But it's a good idea. Just like the Prosteel does. All Autocad functions nothing else. And it works well. 

The only problem is Quick View is always resetting the whole model. And Work Area doesn't work that well. 

This will help users, won't help you guys sell more copies. Sorry
