STOP updating level- & archor plans when we do a total numbering of the model

Hi,

I know this subject is been mentioned a lot of times, but I am getting pretty frustrated.

When we are modeling, most of the times the first thing off a model that is final is the anchor plans. We go through all the dimesnsions and labeling and make the plans final.

Then we go on modeling our structure. Then when I do a total numbering of the model, why is it that all the plans are being updated? Every time the dimensions move.

For example, I moved a bolt in the roof of the structure. So I have to number the model. Why does the anchor plans update?

This is so frustrating and anoying. Maybe it is an option to lock the drawing from updating or something like that. I know this aint the way to work. But when you have to do the dimesnions for the 6th time again, it saves a lot of time.

Regard a pretty anoyed client.

Totally agree,

Labels  are not moving anymore during updating GA dwgs, but dimensions still regenerate, and the weird first and last dimension points between grid lines in anchor plans snapped somewhere somehow in the air, with no real material present, or any kind of AS grid or member or anything, regenerating all over again during update is telling me each and every time:

'We, the devs, We absolutely do not care what you, the users, think about this."

Tried to explain this to Dumitru-answers was-this is the intended behavior.

WTH-why should I delete these two end points each and every time I update the AB plan?

If we explode the dimension chain between the grids dimensions regenerate again, over the exploded dimensions.

Devs, please DO STOP regenerating of default dimensions during update. This has to be done once and for all.

And the other huge issue-Please DO STOP regenerating default section views and prevent moving them in beam and column dwg style.

@Gernot.Jeromin  Please put in your schedule or a roadmap or whatever you call it.

It looks like I will have to call the executives again in order to get a proper attention.
