Stair Macro - Bolt Control

Stair Macro - Bolt Control

In the stair macro, it would be useful to have greater control over the bolts.

For example, I have chosen tread type 7 with a bolted / bolted option, I need CSK bolts in the treads but want XOX bolts in the stringer, once you change to CSK all bolts change, without deleting the joint box to manually change the bolts there is no option for a mix of bolts.

I would also be handy to control the number of bolts, sometimes we may need to model stairs with extra-long goings and need 3 bolts to stop the treads rattling. Currently there are no bolt control options for the number of bolts.

I too have a desperate need for more control over fixings.

I have managed to add database settings to use a flat plate welded to the stringer, but my customer wants three wooden treads with six bolt fixing them to the plate. This'll need a some work on the dcl to add the extra settings. I dare say they're all compiled so no manual fiddling.

I hope this will get in the fix list. :enttäuschtes_Gesicht:

Further to the above idea, it would also be good to control the hole definition of the bolts within the Stair macro, we have a client who wants Slotted holes in the tread angle supports, without adding them manually or exploding the joint.
