Running (Ordinate) Dimension At Centerline of Element in a Drawing Style

Running (Ordinate) Dimension At Centerline of Element in a Drawing Style

Currently, running dimensions only go to the overall of a part or assembly when parts are straight.  What if the part being dimensioned is bent (not curved)?  Requesting choices in the Running Dimension Settings > Ordinate Reference of a Drawing Style for referencing centerlines in addition to 'side of the main assembly' and 'total of the main assembly.'   And, allow the 'RD' symbol to be located at the centerline of the bent part.

For example, if the parts/assembly being dimensioned is made up of bent pipe (e.g., for railings), allow the running dimension, or the overall dimensions for that matter, to be attached to the centerline of the necessary objects versus the outer limits.  See attached image for example.
