Oversized holes in Gable wall end connection

Oversized holes in Gable wall end connection

Hello,

We need an option to oversize holes in one ply in gable end connection-either in beam or in cap plate. Currently we have only the slotted holes option.

Respectfully,

Ilko Dimitrov

I hope I understand your problem. But you could set up the hole size by doubleclick in the screw. The holes could not be changed to another hole, but the hole tolerance could be changed in the first register.

If joint is not exploded, holes' tolerances are grayed out, it is not possible to be manipulated.

BTW-this is not my "problem".

It is a common sense fabrication practice.

BTW: I only want to help you and if it's better for you I meant "the problem" I really understand, that this is not only your problem. Why do you take it personally everytime? If you will do it, you will reach a point, where no one will give you answers. (in my case, this answer will be the last one)

And in my installation, I could double click on the bolt and could change the tolerance:

Because this controls holes in both beam and plate.

If hex bolts are used, per AISC we will have to place washers on both sides when we have oversized holes.

I am not asking for your help, I do not need your help, please do not feel obligated to answer or post to any of my posts.

Have a great day.
