Linear sloped dimension available in Stlye for automatic dimensioning

Please consider making the linear sloped dimension available within the automatic dimensioning of details.

An example of its use would be to show the diagonal dimension of a rectangular plate, from lower left corner to upper right corner. Currently the only dimensions that can be automated are x, y direction distances and we then need to add the diagonal in manually. NB I am aware that the UCS can be used to control the dimension direction, however this would then change all our other dimensions.

Jane

Automatic dimensions in Advance Steel can be created along a sloped direction, the Drawing Style Manager - Dimension request configuration panel offers an option for the dimension to be created along the object direction, but for the case presented here the direction would actually be a rectangle diagonal - points that normall are dimensions, but only consecutive corner. Would this be a generic requirement to dimension along a diagonal of a 4-edge polygon ? (rectangle/square)

The dimension would be for the shortest distance (diagonal) from the extreme bottom left point to the extreme top right point, or variations on those. Nothing that the shape may not be a perfect rectangle or square but and also along the sloped line (at any angle) between those two points.
