Good afternoon,
I hope everyone is doing well.
I’m just wondering if Advance Steel application engineers were looking to improve the isometric camera view.
I raised this query about 5 years ago, but I don’t think anything was done.
In the snapshot below, I created a model view for the fragment of the stair landing and balustrade I need to move to the DWG drawing (see attached Snapshot 1)
In Revit, I can include this view as shown with all edges clipped in line with the model view frame (X, Y, Z).
However, I cannot set the UCS view in the isometric plane in Advance Steel. Only front, back, left and right (see attached Snapshot 2).
The only option is to create a new model view in the isometric view plane. However, the clipping of the model objects is so primitive and not neat (see attached Snapshot 3). I know there is an option to select objects for the camera, but this is not what I need, and it will not resolve the issue.
Can we expect this feature to be added to the software soon?
I'm sure all AS users will appreciate it.
