The page numbering system for this program is the worst I've ever used. When we used Google's SketchUp Layout, you could set the start page for numbering, and individually change numbering if desired(enter new number or simply drag and drop). Layout would automatically number based on page location within document, so pages could just be dragged and dropped to new locations. As AS approaches the process currently, I feel pages should NOT be numbered until plotted, as this would improve existing issues I am experiencing.
Also, why have parts pages with different page numbering if they aren't referenced on the assembly layouts? I know I can have an assembly drawing with the parts associated on the same page, but this is often a poor choice for those of us using 11x17 or smaller paper. If we were using a large sheet printer(17x22+) it may make sense, but we also like having solo part sheets for cut lists and individual parts fabrication.
So I guess the improvements I'm suggesting are threefold:
1.) Auto ADJUSTING page numbering(possibly when plotting so all pages will match, but in tandem with a drag and drop system is preferable)
2.) Ability to drag and drop(or other INTELLIGENT method) for setting page flow PRIOR to plotting(this would also still allow a right click to change individual page number if need be, but should all but eliminate this necessity)
3.) Single parts page number references(chart or list? Maybe extra box in existing lists?) on assembly drawings to simplify review and fabrication processes.
