We need, and I'll say desperately, a better way to get items requiring threaded rods such as sag rods, rod bracing with clevis AND turnbuckles and long 'bolts' such as ones that go through concrete walls exceeding the standard A325 bolt length. Something where we can identify length of threads, size of threads and be able to insert various other hardware such as washers, beveled washers, hex nuts, etc. and get the things to appear on details in a much more 'automatic' fashion.
I am very tired of fighting AS on this - having to use solid objects becomes cumbersome when numbering and getting details, largely because it's an exercise that I don't do often enough to have it in memory. And the sag rods that are included in the purlin/girt macros are useless when we don't have that light gage framing....
And while you're at it, please look at all my other great suggestions because my guess is nobody has but the users here on the forum, who mostly approve of what I ask.
