F. The amount of investment in training and development, just to be thrown in the bin. WTF. Autodesk. We now need to move to a new platform and start over.

I guess it explains Autodesk's lack of development and bug fixing for AdvanceSteel over the recent years, where responses like “it’s not a bug, it’s a feature” even though it produces errors, incorrect information/data or changes things automatically that aren’t meant to be changed.

We have been forced into an unwanted or warranted subscription model then to be shafted without the ability to retain this “legacy software” and have to constantly pay a subscription when we previously owned all our licences in full.

Please explain...................

We're on fruit and no desserts. All for a single question of profit. Since the product is good for small projects. I tried to do in revit but it's driving me crazy I also didn't figure out how to extract the workshop items.

It would be a value to Advance Steel users if Autodesk would provide more information as to what their future plans are in developing steel detailing software, if any at all. Show the users some of your development plans. Let us be part of the BIM process. I'm 61 years old, and have been through many software changes; Intergragh Microstation, AutoCAD, Softdesk, Revit, and Advance Steel. I'm okay with these changes when they improve our workflow. Whatcha got now Autodesk?

I design structures for Transmission towers and have been following the permanent demise of Advance Steel for a long time.  Autodesk's inability to develop anything that works and most importantly keep developing it...gave us the impetus to develop our own 3D CAD for our purposes. And license changes to the detriment of paying customers showed that Autodesk managers are only interested in their own premiums ... soon they won't even have those. As it is called to the forest, so comes echo from the forest back.
