Hi Group,
We could really use a camera and model view manager utility window. (Floating )
A central location to manage all settings of cameras and model views so that after initial placement the
descriptions, drawing styles, scales etc can be set and edited in one interface.
As each camera or model view is in focus to edit, the selected camera or view will also be marked or highlighted in the modeling space so that you know exactly which camera or view you are editing.
This interface also needs to be able to quickly assign, thru multi selection, unique detail numbers to the camera or view description fields so that they are labeled with unique identifiers that can be inserted as a token in detail labels.
When you have many cameras or model views in a project the efficient management of those objects can become very tedious imo.
This would solve that ...... and I don't think it would be that difficult for the development team to come up with something.
I see myself using model views as cameras pretty much exclusively as soon as Graitec/Autodesk FIXES THE SHOW STOPPING BUGS IN THE MODEL VIEW/ CAMERA feature available in AST2018. Great concept...... the rollout on the other hand........Why release it broken and then advertise it as new feature??
What are your thoughts on this??
